This is one of my favorites! This is little Kaylee just over 1 year old, I think. She loved "helping" Daddy play the piano. To this day, she still goes into the piano room and pounds away on the keys. She's actually gotten much better and can play a few tunes now. Isn't she just stinking cute!

I'm supposed to tag several people, but I think I'll skip that. If you wanna...go ahead!

In other family news...Ryan and I finally did some actual basement finishing work this weekend. We installed our back up for the sump pump. Here are a couple of pictures of our handiwork:

This is where we had to cut into the main water supply. We only got a little wet from the water that was left in the pipes. This was probably the hardest part to do.

This is the pit. The new back up is on the right and the primary pump is on the left.

Kaylee's been running a fever the last couple of days. Sunday evening she was complaining of a headache so I gave her some tylenol. Then yesterday morning she said it hurt again and her back also hurt. So I thought something was going on more than just a headache and sure enough, she had a temp of 99. Just enough to make her feel really icky. She's yet to run a fever this morning and her head is better, but since she was so tired yesterday, I'm keeping her home from school today. Yesterday afternoon, she asked me to turn off the TV and the lights so she could take a nap!!!! Kaylee said that!!! My little, "I never need a nap" girl. So, I'm hoping she has a nice restful day today and she'll be back at school tomorrow.
