Well, Alexis had her eyes tested yesterday at school and she was perfectly ok. So, she must just be like everyone I know suffering from sinus issues which causes nasty headaches. I know I'm getting a little tired of it...it's been a really bad winter for that.
Kaylee is super drippy this morning. I think that girl blew her nose about 20 times and it was still running like a faucet. At least I can get her to blow her nose...Alexis won't. Thankfully, everything Kaylee has been blowing out has been crystal clear so there is no infection. I think perhaps if she's still dripping like crazy tomorrow, we will forgo the family game night at church to keep all the other kids healthy.
So, there are some really weird things that happen when I'm talking on the phone.
First of all, it can be dead silent in the mere moments before I either get a phone call or make a phone call. But, once the receiver touches my ear, the house becomes the noisiest place on earth. The girls decide to ask me questions or to begin playing really loudly. And the dogs...oh the dogs...they will be sound asleep, but when I get on the phone, Murphy starts prancing around like she has ants in her pants (I know, what pants....dogs don't wear pants!) and Abby starts her heavy Viszla breathing and does the Viszla dance, next thing I know she's trying to get in my face! So I don't know if all these things are the cause of the weird thing that I do, or if it's just a weird thing that I do...but for some reason, I CANNOT sit still when I'm on the phone. I tried yesterday, but I ended up getting up and folding clothes while I was talking to Val. Sometimes I catch myself just doing laps around the downstairs...through the kitchen, into the dining room, into the living room, through the foyer, back into the kitchen and around again. It's just strange I tell ya. I do that when I brush my teeth too. I can't just stand in the bathroom and brush my teeth...sometimes I find myself walking up and down the hallway upstairs. Quirks....silly, silly quirks. But there are other times when I am perfectly content just sitting...doing absolutely nothing but thinking. Those moments are very rare though!

I'm the same way!!! I can't just sit and talk on the phone, I have to pace around or start picking up the living room or whatever. I can't just stand at the sink and brush my teeth either. We must have gotten that from Mom or something, because she's the same way. Hopefully Kaylee will be better soon! Poor little snot faucet!
